It is not allowed to remove any items or furniture from your room such as steamers, towels, blankets, pillows etc. If you wish to borrow a towel for the beach or park, please ask our Front Desk for assistance. 

Guests are liable for any damage done to, or loss experienced by Grand Joanne property or premisses, caused by themselves or members of their party. The Guest may be charged for the reparation, cleaning and replacement of the damaged or lost property.

Grand Joanne is a privately owned establishment, and any footage taken on the premises is only permitted to be used in private media. It is not allowed to make use of any footage from the premises, in any commercial media, without a formal location release signed by the General Manager. On further notice, a formal permission release must be collected from all civilians that is visible in the footage. Failure to comply with this rule, can result in legal action towards the owner of the commercial media in question.

As we are a hotel, our main goal is to offer you a good night of sleep. Therefore, we ask you to respect your fellow guests concerning volume in general when you are in your room or on the corridors. We do understand that you are on vacation, and you are here to enjoy yourself, and therefore we do have several areas on our ground floor where you are able to have all the fun that you want, without being concerned about your neighbours. We appreciate your effort in helping us with this, and we hope that we can assist you with enjoying your time at Grand Joanne as much as possible. 

We do not offer safety boxes in all rooms, but if you need to store your valuables, ask Front Desk for assistance, as we do have a limited number of safety boxes available. All room doors lock automatically, but we always encourage you to check the door is locked and safe when you leave. The minimum age for reservations is 18 years of age. For guests under the age of 18, a legal guardian must be present for the duration of their reservation.

Smoking: 

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Grand Joanne is a non-smoking property and guests who fail to comply with our non-smoking policy will be fined with a non-negotiable fee of 4000dkk. Any attempt of tampering with any kind of fire and safety equipment in your room or at the premises of Grand Joanne, will result in criminal charges with Copenhagen Police, and further on you will be liable for any fines and charges connected to this situation.

Fire safety: 

It is not allowed to use any type of fire in your room and this includes lighting candles. It is also not allowed to leave any devices that has electronic heating, such as an iron, hair straightener etc. unattended as this could cause fire hazzard.

In case of a fire alarm, we ask you to follow the guidelines coming through the speakers. Our team is trained in fire regulations, and we will do our best to assist you in a calm and collected matter. You will find fire escape plans on your room door and in all corridors of the premises. Please read these when you are able to, and in case of a fire alarm, follow escape plans and the lighted exit signs, and remember that elevators are prohibited from use.
